It's been a while coming, but Rita and I have been jumping around trying to get things arranged for our big day. We printed up invitations, and will be sending those out sometime in the next few weeks. While you're waiting for your invitation, however, here are a few links you can check out!
First, we've reserved a block of hotel rooms in the nearest Hampton Inn. It's right off of the Columbia River in cosmopolitan downtown Richland, Washington. I kid, but it's actually a nice little hotel with a nice little view and there are several nice places for breakfast close by. There are rooms with one king sized bed or two queen beds available. The group rate we've reserved will be available until June 1st, so there's time, but don't wait too long to make reservations.
Next, we've got a registry started. We're currently just registered at Macy's, but a couple of more options will be coming soon.
Finally, we wanted to give you all a little heads up of the plan for our wedding weekend. We know that not everyone will be able to spend both Friday and Saturday with us, but for people who will be in town on Friday night, we are planning a little "welcome to Benton City" dinner at Tapteil Wines. There will be a great view, some amazing wines, and the best tacos to be found in all of Eastern Washington. On Saturday at 5PM, the wedding will be held at Fidelitas Wines, and then we'll retire to a rental house just down the road for a reception.
We're really excited about all this, and hope that you'll be joining us.
